PERFORMANCE SPACE REQUIREMENTS:

1. Performance space can be indoor or outdoor. If outdoor, we must have access to power no less than 50 ft away.

2. Floor must have a hard, flat, smooth surface swept free of debris. No nails, staples, splinters or holes should be exposed.

3. The space must be large enough to hold a set that is 20’x20’ and 10’ high. A gym, cafeteria or all-purpose room is ideal for this performance.

Describe the space where the POP Tour would be performing, as well as the pathway to performance space. Note: Performance space, pathway to performance space, and separate bathrooms from students to serve as dressing rooms must be ADA compliant. Please describe any information that will be helpful to loading into performance space (i.e. # of steps, ramps, and/or sharp corners). A site visit is required by a LJP Staff prior to first performance. A LJP representative will be in contact once booking is complete. If space is inaccessible, performance is subject to cancellation. *

We are a fully vaccinated company and will follow the CDC recommendations for COVID safety. We will wear masks while entering the building, unloading, and loading the set, but the actors will be without masks for the performances. *

If booking is for ONE AM performance at site on a weekday: show must start between 8:00 am and 8:30 am
If booking is for ONE PM performance at site on a weekday: show must start between 1:00 and 1:30 pm
If you are booking two performances, or a weekend performance, there is more flexibility allowing for start times to vary. Show times must have a two hour difference between start times (i.e. 9:00 am & 11:00am )

Are you interested in scheduling FREE Pre-Show Workshops? *

Each school can have up to 6 FREE pre-show workshops with LJP Teaching Artist to prepare students with curriculum and eGuide information. These workshops must take place on one day in the week prior to your scheduled performance. If you are interested, you will be contacted to schedule workshops.

Not all schools can afford to bring programs like the POP Tour to their students. To make sure that the program is accessible to all, we offer partial and full scholarships to schools to cover the minimal program fee schools are charged. Approximately 75% of schools received scholarships in 2020, including all Title 1 schools, thanks to corporate and foundation support, as well as the Adopt-a-School campaign.
